Data Science Laboratory - INTIA

The programme is aimed at two types of companies: industrial companies that want to obtain the necessary knowledge to detect needs and implement advanced analytics projects and implementation of machine learning algorithms applied to their business, and companies belonging to the ICT sector that want to explore the application of data science and develop consulting application knowledge.

INTIA has developed together with the Ad-Hoc company a predictive model of the outbreak of a pest in Navarra, the artichoke moth. With this, they intend to anticipate the behaviour of this pest in order to be able to make real-time decisions based on certain parameters.

We had 20 years of historical series of observations and data. With this, we were able to make a predictive model to anticipate and make decisions in real time.
